Beel-Tuthill

Emma Mary Beel and Shawn Albert Tuthill were married Oct. 7, 2006, at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Patrick Nwokoye performed the ceremony. Deacon was the Rev. William Hennecke Jr., cousin of the bride. Lector was Debbie Frank of Cape Girardeau, godmother of the bride. Mass servers were Austin and Alex Bradshaw. Music was by St. Mary's Youth Group and Leann Hendrix of Cape Girardeau.

Parents of the couple are Roy and Barbara Beel of Jackson, and Roney and Rene Tuthill of Marion, Ill.

Maid of honor was Libby Beussink of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Melanie Peters of Bonnots Mill, Mo., Olivia Hancock of Florissant, Mo., Robyn Beel of Jackson, sisters of the bride; and Geri LeGrand of Chaffee, Mo.

Chris Tuthill of Marion was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Brett Blankenship of Marion, Joe Helleny of Herrin, Ill., Jake Wirtes of Marion, and Warren Jackson of Villa Ridge, Ill. Ushers were Chris Sheffler of Marion and Josh LaMouria of Jackson.

Candlelighters were Danielle Poyner of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, and Rebecca Mayberry of Herrin.

Flower girl was Annalise Garner, daughter of Tim and Meg Garner of Jackson. Ringbearer was Kalib Mayberry, son of Rebecca Mayberry.

Program attendants were Shelley Frank of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, and Destiny McCarthy of Marion, niece of the groom.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.

The rehearsal dinner was held Oct. 6 at the KC Hall.

Mrs. Tuthill is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor's degree in special education from Fontbonne University in St. Louis in 2006. She is a special education teacher with Sikeston School District.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Marion High School. He received an associate degree in criminal justice from John A. Logan College in Carterville, Ill., in 2000. He is assistant manager at Matrix Sales in Marion.

After a wedding trip to Rome, Italy, the couple resides in Anna, Ill.
