Doris Emile Meyr Pflughaupt, 64, formerly of Chaffee, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at the Northeast Medical Center in Concord, N.C.
She was born March 3, 1942, in New Wells, Mo., daughter of Ruben and Gertrude Schlimpert Meyr.
Pflughaupt was a graduate of Chaffee High School. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and a kindergarten teacher for 38 years at Emmanuel-St. Michael Lutheran School.
Survivors include her husband, Roger D. Pflughaupt of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two daughters, Stephanie Parker of Concord, N.C. and Leslie Adair of Fort Wayne; five brothers, Ryland "Dutch" Meyr of Jackson, Larry Meyr of Chaffee, Dennis Meyr of St. Louis, Glen Meyr of Chaffee and Rex Meyr of Jackson; a sister, Loretta Ezell of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with a one-hour calling period prior to the services, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
