Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

  • Jose L. Z. Xolio, of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., received a summons for driving while under the influence of alcohol, striking a legally stopped vehicle and driving without a valid driver's license.

Arrest

  • Kaseem S. Batchelor, 28, of Newark, N.J., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for driving while suspended.

Property damage

  • A truck was reported damaged at 333 N. Ellis St.
  • Windows were reported broken at 221 N. Fountain St.

Thefts

  • Medication was reported stolen at 1400 S. West End Blvd.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 214 Louisiana Ave.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 3439 William St.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 211 Saint Francis Drive.
  • A burglary was reported at 121 N. West End Blvd.
  • Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A bag was reported stolen from 3065 William St.
  • Gloves, helmet, a welder and assorted tools were reported stolen from 825 North St.
  • Wal-Mart, 3439 William St, reported theft of a television and DVD player.
  • A burglary was reported at 121 N. West End Blvd.

Miscellaneous

  • A handgun was reported found at 231 Mill St.
  • An attempted unlawful use of a debit device was reported.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported on the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported on East Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

  • Property was reported damaged in the 300 block of South Georgia Street.

Miscellaneous

  • Fraud was reported in the 700 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Harassment was reported in the 300 block of East Lane.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of Odus Street.

Summons

  • Jennifer L. Moore, 28, 363 Godwin Drive, received a summons for failure to have a child in a child safety seat and failure to drive in a single lane of traffic.
