Claud M. Keesee, 100, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at Ratliff Care Center.
He was born Dec. 26, 1905, in Perkins, Mo., son of Thomas and Mary Shrum Keesee. He and Erthel Lufcy were married in 1925. She survives. He later married Marvine Hensley, who died Aug. 30, 2000.
He was a member of First Assembly of God Church where he served as a deacon many years. He worked at Leming Saw Mill, International Shoe Co., and later at Port Cape.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Little of Cape Girardeau; a son, Russell Keesee of Hernando, Fla., daughters Claudine Lambert of Cape Girardeau and Brenda Floyd of Jackson; nine grandchildren, Rick Keesee, Troy Little, Shelly Williams, John Turner, Debbie Shain, Gina Salzman, Jack Floyd Jr., David Floyd and Joy Pulliam; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home Saturday from 11 a.m. to service time.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Metcalf officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
