Village of Brazeau plans tours of community

The historic village of Brazeau, Mo., invites the public to the town's Christmas celebration from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday. All historic buildings including the winery, museum, blacksmith shop, bank, tea house and church will be open for tours. Attractions include refreshments in the tea house, area homes open for tours, live nativity scene, craft fair in the community hall, and Christmas concerts at 4 and 5 p.m. at the Brazeau Presbyterian Church. Annual craft sale scheduled this weekend

The Bonney Bank Artisan Guild will hold its annual craft sale from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Christ Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 101 N. Fountain St.

St. Denis holds Winter Wonderland of Treasures

BENTON, Mo. -- St. Denis School's seventh annual "Winter Wonderland of Treasures" arts and crafts sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Parish Center on U.S. 61. There is no admission fee for the sale. There will be more than 50 booths, attendance drawings, a 50/50 raffle, homemade chicken noodle soup and chili, desserts, breakfast and snack items. State announces change in hours at Valle House

STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Beginning Monday, the Felix Valle House State Historic Site will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays through February. In previous years the historic site was closed only on Mondays during the winter. From December to February, the historic site will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday (with the exception of Christmas and New Year's days). Tours are available during these times. Women's club sponsors home tour in Anna

ANNA, Ill. -- The Anna-Jonesboro Women's Club invites guests to tour the homes of Richard and Susan Hase, Rodney and Linda Sadler, John and Tracee Foley and the First Baptist Church of Anna from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 9.
