Dowdy-Klett

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Christina Joy Dowdy and Glen Robert Klett were married Nov. 18, 2006, on the beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Ambrose Herrid performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Linda Dowdy of Olive Branch, and the late Keith Dowdy. Gene and Cheryl Klett of Tucson, Ariz., are parents of the groom.

A reception was held Nov. 25 at Cairo Elks Lodge.

Mrs. Klett is a 1993 graduate of Egyptian High School. She is a culinary professional with Red Lobster.

The groom is a 1983 graduate of Joliet West High School, and a graduate of Southern Illinois University. He is assistant manager at Cairo Public Utility Co.

The couple resides in Cairo.
