Members of the world champion St. Louis Cardinals will be in town Jan. 14 for the annual Cardinals Caravan, but no one is sure quite yet which players will be attending.

Penny Williams of the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department said the Cardinals have not informed her as to which players will be appearing at the Osage Community Centre later this month. She expects a good crowd and reports that ticket sales have been brisk, with interest created by the Cardinals' World Series win against the Detroit Tigers.

The Cardinals in October won their first World Series championship since 1982.

The Caravan program again will include a brief outlook of the season, followed by an autograph session for children. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and the program will begin at 6 and is expected to conclude around 8.

The admission charge is $4, while those ages 2 and under are admitted free.

Last year's event featured catcher Yadier Molina, who hit the decisive home run in the National League Championship Series Game 7; pitcher Randy Flores and infielder Aaron Miles, along with broadcaster Al Hrabosky.
