SIKESTON, Mo. -- Linda Sue Ramsey, 63, of Sikeston died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at her home. She was born Nov. 8, 1943, near Bertrand, Mo., daughter of Jim and Carrie Carlyle Western. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Linda Sue Ramsey, 63, of Sikeston died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at her home.

She was born Nov. 8, 1943, near Bertrand, Mo., daughter of Jim and Carrie Carlyle Western. She and James E. Ramsey were married June 13, 1961, at Bertrand.

Ramsey was a 1961 graduate of Sikeston High School. She had worked at McMullin Mini-Mart near Sikeston.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rick Ramsey of Morehouse, Mo., Mike Ramsey of Sikeston; two brothers, Jimmy and Carl Western of Bertrand; three sisters, Alma Smith of Morehouse, Mable Holmes of Sikeston, Burma Baker of Jackson; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery at Dogwood, Mo.
