The Bulldogs (7-5) used a strong fourth quarter to rout the Knightettes 66-49 in the third-place game of the Saint Francis Medical Center Holiday Classic last month. This time, Farmington used an 18-11 scoring edge in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Notre Dame trailed 14-6 after one quarter but bounced back to make it 24-21 at the half. The Bulldogs(7-5) were led by Kristain Burger with 16 points, and Meridith Medlin netted 14.

Top-seeded Delta and No. 3 Scott County Central cruised in quarterfinal games at the Scott-Mississippi Tournament.

Delta (10-0) topped No. 8 East Prairie 60-21. Kaci Menz led Delta with 20 points and Ashley Deprow had 18. Jodi Menz added 10 rebounds.

Third-seeded Scott County Central led 26-0 after one quarter and won 59-20 over No. 6 Charleston. Brianna Johnson led the Bravettes with 24 points and Brittney Peet had 13.

Second-seeded Kelly will face No. 7 Chaffee at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, and No. 4 Oran will follow against No. 5 Scott City at 8 p.m. in another quarterfinal.
