PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Betty L. Brown, 69, of Perryville died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis. She was born June 4, 1934, in St. Louis, daughter of Leo and Freda Johnson Reid. She and Leroy E. Brown were married July 27, 1963...PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Betty L. Brown, 69, of Perryville died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born June 4, 1934, in St. Louis, daughter of Leo and Freda Johnson Reid. She and Leroy E. Brown were married July 27, 1963.
She was a member of Lithium Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; four brothers, William Reid of St. Louis, Robert Reid of Roswell, N.M., David Reid of Jackson and Terry Reid of Perryville; and three sisters, Pauline Heberlie of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Geneva Weber of Jackson and Carol Detjen of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by five brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Young & Sons Funeral Home and after 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Gerold McBride officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery in Perryville.
