Larry Hopfer

OLD APPLETON, Mo. -- Larry W. Hopfer, 49, of Old Appleton died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 30, 1957, in St. Louis, son of Wilbert A. and Wilma Grossheider Hopfer.

Hopfer was a concrete finisher for Russell Richardet.

Survivors include his mother of Jackson, and a friend, Rose Jackson of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time today at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Mo.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
