Bridges-Hood

Hayley Autumn Bridges and Derek Joseph Hood were married May 13, 2006, at Grace United Methodist Church. The Revs. Scott Moon and Marvin Pyron performed the ceremony. Vocalists were Robyn Hosp and Julie Walker of Jackson, Mike Dumey of Cape Girardeau, Toni Becker of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Lance Lane of O'Fallon, Ill. Guitarist was Toni Becker, pianists were Shane Steck of Columbia, Mo., and Tim DePriest of Cape Girardeau. Music was also by the church bell choir.

Parents of the couple are Rodney and Dimple Bridges of Cape Girardeau, and Robert and Joyce Hood of Woodlawn, Ill.

Matrons of honor were Krista Baker and Brandy Storck of Cape Girardeau, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Leslie Wagoner, Amanda Seabaugh and Trisha Mothershead of Cape Girardeau, Kelly Roth and Lauren Ott of St. Louis.

The groom chose his father and his brother, Robert Hood II of Mount Vernon, Ill., as best men. Groomsmen were Keith Baker and Jimmy Storck of Cape Girardeau, brothers-in-law of the bride; Gary Gray of Herrin, Ill., Lance Lane of O'Fallon, and Gene Anderson of Albuquerque, N.M. Ushers were Steve O'Keefe of Marion, Ill. and Matt Yusko of Herrin.

Candlelighters were David and Michael Hurley of Eustis, Fla., uncles of the bride.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Maddie and Brayden Baker, niece and nephew of the bride. They are children of Keith and Krista Baker.

Lincoln and Mackenzie Shearer were program and guest book attendants.

The reception was held at Francine's Gardens.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 12 at Dexter Bar-B-Que.

Mrs. Hood received a master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is an occupational therapist with Sensational Kids, a pediatric therapy company.

The groom received a degree in finance from Southern Illinois University. He is an investment representative with Edward Jones Investments.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Carterville, Ill.
