Kandi Lea Ferrell and Michael William Gross were married May 17, 2003, at First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Paul Kabo Jr. performed the ceremony. Organist was Mary Miller of Cape Girardeau, and soloist was Carrie Ferrell of Scott City, sister of the bride.

Parents of the couple are Jerry and Patricia Ferrell and Gregory and Kim Gross, all of Scott City.

Maid of honor was Carrie Ferrell. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Parker of Scott City, and Lisa Ritch of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Lindsey Hadley, daughter of Terry and Rachel Hadley of Scott City and cousin of the groom.

The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Gross of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom, and Jason Donovan of Scott City. Junior groomsman was Keith Gross, brother of the groom. Ushers were Josh Puckett, son of Gary and Mary Puckett of Oran, Mo., cousin of the groom, and Keith Gross.

Candlelighters were Tabitha Bethel and Josh Puckett. Tabitha is the daughter of Jack and Sondra Bethel of Equality, Ill., and cousin of the bride.

Flower girls were Mattison Cline and Hannah Lacy, and ringbearer was Jordan Lacy, cousins of the groom. Mattison is the daughter of Matt Cline of Scott City and Misty Cline of Chaffee, Mo. Hannah and Jordan are the children of P.J. and Alisha Lacy of Oran.

Marla Vonlinen of Harrisburg, Ill., attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City. Servers were Rita Parker of Scott City, Sondra Bethel, Linda Barefoot of Harrisburg, Mary Puckett and Alisha Lacy.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 16 at First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Gross is a 2000 graduate of Scott City High School. She is a secretary at Security Bank and Trust Co. in Scott City.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Scott City High School. He is a route driver with River Eagle Distributing Co. in Cape Girardeau.

The couple resides in Scott City.
