Mr. and Mrs. James Clayton of Scott City recently observed their 50th wedding anniversary.

Clayton and Carolyn Cambron were married March 2, 1957, at Old St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, by the Rev. Joseph P. Dyra.

Their attendants were Florence Beebe, Darlene Sample, Mary Nell Martinez, Lloyd Blattel, Norman Raines and Vernon Compas.

The couple has three children, Linda (Gary) Springs, Mark (Jane) Clayton, and James "Barney" Clayton. They have three grandchildren, McKenzie and Duncan Clayton, and Blake Springs.
