Bonnie Osburn

Bonnie Jean Baker Osburn, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 2, 1924, at Thompson, Mo., daughter of Clarence W. and Emma Groves Baker. She and Robert L. Osburn were married June 4, 1949 in Mexico, Mo. He died Nov. 17, 2003.

Osburn was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was a member of Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Morris Osburn and wife, Diana of Normal, Ill., Ted Osburn and wife, Wendy of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Betty Louise Baker of Mexico, Mo.; five grandchildren, Robert W. Osburn, Morris L. Osburn, both of Normal, Ill., Brooks Osburn, Bennett Osburn, Breyton Osburn, all of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert L. Osburn; and a brother, John G. Baker.

Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Moon officiating.

Entombment at Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo., at a later date.
