Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, driving while suspended and speeding.
  • Gregory L. Nicholson, 36, of 618 North St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • David A. Vickory, 23, of Jackson was arrested on a Kane County, Ill., warrant for resisting arrest by flight.
  • A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges for resisting arrest by flight and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jeffery S. Gantt, 22, of 1429 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.
  • Brandon E. Dean, 17, of 1400 S. West End Blvd., Lot 1, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree trespassing.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Thefts

  • A wallet was reported stolen at 205 Caruthers Ave.
  • A flashlight, PSP and Dexter game, and a checkbook were reported stolen at 2726 Chrysler Ave.
  • A vehicle door was reported damaged and a cell phone and purse were reported stolen at 2735 Chrysler Ave.
  • A Windows XP was reported stolen at 2742 Chrysler Ave.
  • A purse and cash were reported stolen from 1915 Grandview St.
  • Speakers and a speakerbox were reported stolen from 1934 Grandview St.
  • A purse and cash were reported stolen and the purse recovered and a vehicle door damaged at 503 E. Rodney Drive.
  • A wallet and cash were reported stolen and a vehicle damaged at 2710 Hawthorne Road.
  • A purse, wallet and contents were reported stolen and a vehicle damaged at 718 W. Rodney Drive.
  • A license plate was reported stolen from 7 E. Rodney Drive, Apt. 5.
  • A Playstation 2, 3, a Nintendo Wii and numerous games were reported stolen from 223 S. Pacific St.

Property damage

  • A vehicle tail light was reported damaged at 3049 or 3439 William St.
  • A mailbox was reported damaged at 1670 Westwood Drive.
  • A mailbox was reported damaged at 1525 Parksite Drive.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 3250 Gordonville Road.
  • A wall was reported damaged at 1 S. Main St.
  • A mailbox was reported damaged at 2242 Sherwood Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • Trespassing was reported.
  • An ex parte violation was reported.
  • Two instances of failure to maintain property free of litter and weeds were reported.
  • Interference with custody was reported.

Jackson

The following items were reported by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Bille J. Hamm, 31, of 604 N. High St., was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 1200 block East Main Street.

Miscellaneous

  • Harassing phone calls were reported in the 700 block of North Hope Street.
  • Property was reported found in the 400 block of Alvin Street.
  • A person was reported missing in the 500 block of North Hope Street.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the city park.
