The Tsalagi Service unit of Girl Scouts of the Otahki Council, including the Jackson and Oak Ridge school districts, held its annual recognition banquet recently at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.

Awards were presented to the top five product sellers in two categories.

The top fall product awards were presented to Hannah Eddy, Brownie Troop 108; Molly Brown, Brownie Troop 3; Jordan Kinder, Cadette Troop 212; Katelynn Pensel, Junior Troop 27; and Taylor Bauknecht, Junior Troop 143.

Top cookie sales awards were presented to Elizabeth Rush, Brownie Troop 337; Carly Dean, Brownie Troop 187; Taylor Bowers, Brownie Troop 139; Brooke Brantley, Cadette Troop 185; and Lindsey Breer, Brownie Troop 279.

Adults were also recognized at the banquet. Outstanding leader awards were presented to Shirley Weaver and Pamela Roche. Outstanding volunteer awards were presented to Sarah Dovin and Penny Slusher.

The Community Partnership Award went to Cheekwood Studio for photographing the banquet for several years.
