Vogelsant to serve on national VFW auxiliary committee
Glenneta Vogelsang of Cape Girardeau, a member of Clippard, Wilson, Taylor Auxiliary 3838, participated in the 90th national convention of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, held in late August in San Antonio, Texas. A past national president, Vogelsang will serve as a member of the 2003 to 2004 National Events and Guests Committee. Her 2002 to 2003 theme is "Together Everyone Achieves Magic for Our Veterans."...Southeast Missourian
Glenneta Vogelsang of Cape Girardeau, a member of Clippard, Wilson, Taylor Auxiliary 3838, participated in the 90th national convention of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, held in late August in San Antonio, Texas.

She praised members for responding by tripling their donations to Operation Uplink providing $804,808 for long-distance telephone cards to the troops.

"Support the troops" rallies were held, hundreds of care packages were sent and members all over the country supported the families left behind.
The election and installation of national president Evelyn McCune and other officers concluded the convention.
