BELL CITY, Mo. -- Jane Bollinger, 85, of Bell City passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 25,1921, in Sullivan, Ill., daughter of Benjamin and Monte Hargrave Luke. She and Max Bollinger were married March 23, 1945, at Fredericktown, Mo. He died April 29, 2004...

BELL CITY, Mo. -- Jane Bollinger, 85, of Bell City passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 25,1921, in Sullivan, Ill., daughter of Benjamin and Monte Hargrave Luke. She and Max Bollinger were married March 23, 1945, at Fredericktown, Mo. He died April 29, 2004.

The Bollingers owned and operated Bell City Store 60 years. She was a member of Bell City United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and past member of Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly (Charles) Phillips and Patricia (Don) Abner of Bell City; a granddaughter, Tara Phillips of Sikeston, Mo.; four grandsons, Luke Phillips of Conway, Ark., Jonathan Abner of St. Louis, Benjamin Abner of Newport News, Va., Daniel Abner of Cape Girardeau; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruberta Hoskins, June Dash and Marvene Cornell.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bell City United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Andy Lambel officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Bell City.
