Stahlys are married 65 years

Lory and Lillian Stahly of Cape Girardeau observed their 65th wedding anniversary May 3, 2007.

They were married May 3, 1942, at the home of her parents, Sam and Lillian Zimmerman, in Carlock, Ill.

Their attendants were Ida Zimmerman, sister of the bride, and Maurice Stahly, brother of the groom.

Their children and spouses are Dr. Randall Stahly (Trish), Joseph Stahly (Jane), William Stahly (Shirley), all of Cape Girardeau, and Rebecca Stiles (David) of Woodstock, Ga.

The Stahlys have six grandchildren, Sam, Jodi and Jon Stahly of Cape Girardeau, Jamie Stahly, Michael and Lauren Stiles of Tennessee.
