~ Southeast signed two 5-foot-10 forwards to add depth in the post.

Southeast Missouri State's women's basketball team added a pair of 5-foot-10 forwards to its spring signing class Wednesday in junior college transfer Crysta Glenn and high school senior Rochelle Ikeni.

Glenn averaged 11 points and eight rebounds as a sophomore at Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, Kan.

Glenn, a San Diego High School graduate, led Cowley County to a 20-12 record last season and earned all-Jayhawk East Conference and NJCAA Region VI honors.

"She was the leading rebounder on a good Cowley team in the Jayhawk Conference, which is one of the three best junior college conferences in the nation," Redhawks coach John Ishee said in a statement. "She can score and is a good all-around player that will give us depth on the bench."

Ikeni averaged 28 points and 17 rebounds her senior season for Roosevelt High School in Fresno, Calif., which ranked No. 5 in the state and in the top 10 nationally. Ikeni was the MVP of the Yosemite League and earned first-team all-city honors.

"I really believe that with Rochelle's ability to score points in a variety of ways, she will have a chance to be a very successful player here at Southeast," Ishee said in a statement. "The character and work ethic that her coach, her counselors and what coach [Angela] Moore and I gathered from our visits with her, she will be a potential steal for us."

Poplar Bluff graduate and Three Rivers sophomore Tierra Johnson signed earlier this spring. Tore Fite and Lauren Sharpe signed with the Redhawks in the early signing period.
