Fort Zumwalt West (1-3) at Jackson (1-2)

Last week: Jackson idle; Fort Zumwalt West 13, Troy 7

Last year: Fort Zumwalt West 33, Jackson 7

Notes: Jackson was idle last week and is coming off a tough loss to Pattonville in week three. The Indians came back from a 12-0 deficit against Pattonville to take a 15-12 lead before a fourth-quarter touchdown gave Jackson its second straight loss. Jackson quarterback Tyler Profilet had his best game of the season, going 16-of-36 for 204 yards. The running game faltered with only 93 yards on 32 carries. Defensive end Tyler McNeely blocked another punt against Pattonville and has been disruptive on both defense and special teams as well as giving the Indians a reliable target at tight end. Dustin Nellesen is Fort Zumwalt West's leading rusher and passer. Through the Jaguars' first three games, Nellesen was 10-of-31 for 157 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions. On the ground Nellesen had 224 yards on 57 carries, a 3.93-yard average per carry. West's next leading rusher has only 46 yards. Scott City (1-3) at Chaffee (0-4)

Last week: Valle 23, Scott City 14; Portageville 46, Chaffee 13

Last year: Scott City 14, Chaffee 6

Notes: Scott City's second-half comeback against Valle gave the team confidence after a poor showing against East Prairie. The Rams scored more than a touchdown for only the second game this season. Scott City produced more than 200 yards of offense in the second half against Valle after gaining only 65 in the first half. Chaffee got 88 yards from quarterback Jeff Daugherty in its loss to Portageville. Nick Powderly again led the Red Devils with three receptions for 82 yards. Running back Chris Hanback had 40 yards rushing and completed two halfback passes for 82 yards. The Red Devils defense allowed Portageville over 400 yards of offense. The Rams have won 17 straight games in the series. Perryville (0-4) at Windsor (2-2)

Last year: Perryville 14, Windsor 7

Notes: Perryville is looking for its first win after falling in a weather-delayed game at Farmington last week. The Pirates could muster only a field goal in the second half after a two-hour lightning delay and threw an interception deep in Farmington territory in the fourth quarter. The Pirates' run defense will be put to the test against Windsor running back Blane Boss, who broke Jackson graduate Mario Whitney's state single-game rushing record in Week 3 with 508 yards on 25 carries. Boss ran for 181 yards on 11 carries in Windsor's win over Park Hills Central, including touchdown runs of 46 and 59 yards.St. Vincent (2-2) at St. Pius (1-3)

Last week: St. Vincent 35, Grandview 7; St. Pius 29, Crystal City 7

Last year: St. Pius 21, St. Vincent 14

Notes: St. Vincent has beaten up on Potosi and Grandview the past two games to even its record. The Indians are led by running back Kyle Kline, who had 37 yards against Grandview. Quarterback Chad Lane has been steady and came up big against Grandview with four completions for 177 yards. St. Pius has a pair of capable running backs in Carlos Bisch and Paul Harman. Bisch and Harman have run for 298 and 281 yards, respectively. Jon Overberg is 18-of-50 passing for 194 yards, with six interceptions and no touchdowns. The Lancers had only 146 yards of offense in their win over Crystal City last week and had two defensive touchdowns.
