Arrests; Summons

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Kevin B. Blackstone, 20, of 45 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.
  • Zachary L. Green, 21, of Jackson was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for probation violation for driving while intoxicated and failure to appear for leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license and failure to drive on the right side of the roadway.
  • A suspect was in custody pending the filing of formal charges for burglary, stealing and property damage.
  • Brittany N. Vonnida, 25, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation and false declaration.
  • A suspect was in custody pending the filing of formal charges for false declaration.
  • Alisha D. Snider, 30, of 1600 Independence St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for driving with a suspended license and two counts of contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for driving with a suspended license.
  • Three 14-year-old girls were cited into juvenile court for stealing.
  • A suspect was in custody pending the filing of formal charges for assault.
  • Michael W. Vinson, 30, of 715 Minnesota Ave., was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for insufficient funds.

Summonses

  • Meghan D. Raines, 20, of Scott City, received summonses for tampering, littering and littering on private property.
  • Crystal Lee Miller, 23, of 1918 College St., received a summons for a leash-law violation and not having a city animal license.
  • Brian A. Hodges, 27, of 2114 Yorktown Drive, received a summons for prohibited acts for playing a stereo too loudly.

Thefts

  • Identity theft was reported.
  • A Cadillac was reported stolen from 709 Albert St. Police reported it was later recovered.
  • Dan's Key and Lock, 1754 Independence St., reported a lock and pick set was stolen.
  • A set of cookware was reported stolen from 830 Jefferson Ave.
  • A knife and cash were reported stolen from 1816 Thilenius St.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Property damage

  • A mailbox and its post were reported damaged at 1608 Grandview Drive.
  • A vehicle door was reported dented at 4017 Marroseann Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix was reported abandoned at 612 S. Sprigg St.

Summons

  • Nathan K. Shumpert, 20, of 258 D St. Lot 93, Cape Girardeau, received a summons for failure to stop at a red light.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported on Parkview Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of West Mary Street.

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

  • Brian A. Greer, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear, driving while intoxicated, being visibly intoxicated as a minor and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • James M. Cordia, 58, of Oak Ridge was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.
  • Kelly G. Moore, 27, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, unlawful use of a weapon, failure to use a signal and failure to drive on the right side of the roadway.
  • Shelia R. Fry, 41, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.
  • Benjamin S. Jester, 22, of Springfield, Mo., was arrested on a Greene County warrant for probation violation.
  • Kelvin T. Foster, 27, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault.
  • Tyler D. Doublin, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of stealing motor fuel.
  • Devin L. Eastman, 18, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of stealing fuel.
  • Patricia F. Huffman, 38, of Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing a bad check.
  • Victoria M. Welker, 23, of Jackson, was arrested on a Bollinger County warrant for failure to appear and tampering with a motor vehicle.
  • William S. Claussen, 22, of Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
