Residence: Charleston, Mo.

Charges: Possession of more than 50 grams of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, illegal possession of firearms and possession and production of child pornography.

Summary: Kent was arrested on May 8, 2006, by officers of the Charleston Police Department. The officers searched a bedroom Kent had been living in and found 70 grams of crack cocaine, cash and a .22-caliber revolver. Kent denied that he had ever lived in the room, but his DNA was found on one of the baggies containing crack cocaine. A cell phone in Kent's possession at the time of his arrest contained sexually explicit photographs of Kent and a minor child. Scheduling is set for Aug. 13. Kent faces mandatory life imprisonment for the charge of possession of more than 50 grams of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.
