Local trucking firm gives out five service awards

Wiethop Trucking Service in Cape Girardeau recently announced its years of service awards. The award recipients were Bill Gosche, general manager for 35 years; Dan Becker, trailer parts for 30 years; Tim Huey, trailer technician for 30 years; Jim Sutton, trailer technician for 20 years; and Dan Brase, sales manager for 15 years.

Area bank promotes four management team members

First Missouri State Bank of Cape County recently promoted four management team members. Janet Esicar has been promoted to senior vice president, real estate and consumer lending. Esicar has been with the bank for two years and in the banking industry for more than 30 years. She is a member of the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Saint Francis Board, United Way of Southeast Missouri Board, SEMO Booster Board, Saint Francis Health Development Services Corporation Board, is a Junior Achievement volunteer and a graduate of Leadership Cape Girardeau.

Sandy Boston has been promoted to vice president, operations manager. Boston has been with the bank for five years and in the banking industry for 20 years.

Cheryl Essner has been promoted to vice president, policy and compliance. Cheryl has been with the bank for more than two years and was previously a bank examiner for the state.

Brittney Lee has been promoted to marketing and public relations officer. Lee has been with the bank for five years and in the banking industry for eight years. She is currently a member of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, Tri-State Advertising and Marketing Professionals, American Heart Association Heart Walk Committee, is a Junior Achievement volunteer and a graduate of Leadership Cape Girardeau.

First Missouri State Bank of Cape County has locations in Cape Girardeau and Jackson.
