I am an avid fan of sports. I attribute that, in part, to my teens, when I took part in a few minor sports. To mention a few, I enjoy football, golf, basketball and baseball. Recent news, however, that baseball players rely strongly on dope and steroids has dampened my interest in the game. I truly believe the natural energy of Babe Ruth was sufficient in his fame.

Interest in golf increases each day. Recently, both Bob Barker and Ellen DeGeneres had as a guest of their shows a professional golfer. Have you ever noticed the ease among golfers? I question the use of steroids or dope among golfers.

A prayer on the Opinion page that appears daily asked God to look kindly on golfers. Try and beat that.

Remember, life can be tricky. Get a grip on the good parts of it, hold tight, and you will be happy that you did. Believe me, it works.
