Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:
- At 4:43 p.m., emergency medical service at 741 Giboney Ave.
- At 7:05 p.m., emergency medical service at 2901 Hawthorne Road.
- At 7:18 p.m., an illegal burn at 2827 S. Sprigg St.
- At 8:10 p.m., emergency medical service at 500 Emerald St.
Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:
- At 3:50 a.m., a police assist at Rockwood Drive and North Henderson Avenue.
- At 8:26 a.m., an illegal burn at 324 Country Club Drive.
- At 11:54 a.m., power lines down at 1236 Fairlane Drive.
- At 1:24 p.m., a motor vehicle accident at North Kingshighway and Interstate 55.
- At 1:46 p.m., a carbon monoxide alarm at 408 Ripley St.
- At 3:40 p.m., emergency medical service in the 800 block of Morgan Oak Street.
- At 3:57 p.m., a vehicle fire on the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge.
