Queen of Miss Cotton Carnival

At the 59th annual Cotton Carnival in Sikeston Abbie Cook, center, was crowned Miss Cotton Carnival. Kylie Michelle Walker, left, was named first alternate and Melody Emerson, right, second alternate.

Abbie Cook is the daughter of Debby and Allen Cook of Scott City, Mo. A junior at Scott City High School, Abbie is active as an historian in FBLA; a sergeant of arms with FTA; a junior representative for student council and a member of FCCLA, Pep Club and National Honor Society. She participates in volleyball, cheerleading and track. Hobbies include sports, socializing with family and friends and competing in pageants.

Abbie has been crowned three times including Miss Scott City Summer Fest, American's Fabulous Faces and Miss Sikeston Cotton Carnival. Plans for the future include attending Missouri State University-Columbia majoring in business or pharmacy.

Abbie Cook was recently crowned Miss Cotton Carnival at Sikeston's 59th annual Cotton Carnival.

She is the daughter of Debby and Allen Cook of Scott City, Mo.
