Arrests

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items Friday. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Colbert L. Fairley, 46, of 2802 Independence St., Apt. 10, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault, forcible sodomy and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
  • Kenneth R. Pair, 44, of Jackson, was arrested on a warrant.
  • A 25-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • A suspect was in custody pending the filing of formal charges for second-degree domestic assault.
  • A suspect was in custody pending the filing of formal charges for third-degree domestic assault.
  • Pervis J. Boyd, 24, of New Madrid, Mo., was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for a family offense.
  • Linda K. Mathies, 43, of Malden, Mo., was arrested on a Dunklin County warrant for failure to appear for passing bad checks.

Thefts

  • Headrests with installed media package were reported stolen from 2366 Cheetah Lane.
  • A cellular phone was reported stolen from 334 N. Sprigg St.
  • Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of gasoline.

Burglaries

  • A burglary was reported at 409 Mississippi St. Medications, video game systems, video games, CDs and cash were reported stolen in the incident.
  • A burglary was reported at 3002 Themis St. A computer, a monitor, speakers and a keyboard were reported stolen and a door was reported broken in the incident.

Summonses

  • Janet R. Cole, 60, of 102 N. West End Blvd., was issued a summons for prohibited signs.
  • Walter R. Doughten, 44, of Holcomb, Mo., and Angela K. Winschel, of 1805 Grandview Lane, were issued summonses for indecent exposure.
  • Shalonda D. Snider, 26, of 901 S. Benton St., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of litter.

Assault

  • A rape was reported.
  • A third-degree domestic assault was reported.

Property damage

  • A vehicle window was reported broken at 2564 Lisa Drive. A purse was reported stolen in the incident.
  • A tailgate and window hinge were reported damaged at 3439 William St.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 1534 Jane Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • Interference with custody was reported.
  • Rent-a-Center, 2136 William St., reported a failure to return a television and clothes dryer.
  • R&S Auto Sales, 1287 Independence St., reported a forgery.

The Cape Girardeau Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

  • Marcus G. Locke, 34, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for two counts of failure to register as a sex offender.
  • Dustin D. Nothdurft, 26, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to wear a seat belt and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
  • Daniel L. Phillips, 26, of Oak Ridge was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing bad checks.
  • Jeffery R. Recker, 18, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway causing the threat of an accident.
  • Dale W. Gooch, 32, of Whitewater was arrested on suspicion of first-degree statutory rape.
  • Anthony S. Sagers, 21, of Jackson was arrested on a Scott City warrant for displaying or possessing the license plates of another vehicle.
