LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. -- Sara Lee Kassel, 68, of Lee's Summit, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Lee's Summit Hospital in Lee's Summit. She was born Jan. 8, 1939, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Paul F. and Adelaide Friese Jones. She and Ernest Seabaugh were married in 1957. She later married Donald A. Kassel on Dec. 11, 1987...

LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. -- Sara Lee Kassel, 68, of Lee's Summit, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Lee's Summit Hospital in Lee's Summit.

She was born Jan. 8, 1939, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Paul F. and Adelaide Friese Jones. She and Ernest Seabaugh were married in 1957. She later married Donald A. Kassel on Dec. 11, 1987.

Kassel was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband of Lee's Summit; a daughter, Susan Webber of Plano, Texas; two sons, Michael Seabaugh of Shawneetown, David Seabaugh of Jackson; four stepchildren; her mother; 28 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Lee's Summit.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Floral Hills East Cemetery.

Langsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
