Goal is better autism treatment
To the editor:Autism is a condition that affects thousands of families across Missouri, and early diagnosis and treatment are important. I have a friend who has dealt with this for many years, and I have always admired her strength. Gov. Matt Blunt doubled the state funding for autism diagnosis and treatment. I wish to applaud this action. I'm hoping that with this improved funding and with the greater knowledge the public has that we can make great advances in treating autism.
