Arrests

Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Beverly D. Haley, 26, of 321 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Jacquelyn A. McEuen, 22, of Tamms, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
  • Michael J. Brown, 22, of 2832 Themis St., Apt. 5, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on charges of assault.
  • An 11-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on charges of unlawful possession and use of fireworks.
  • A 12-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on charges of unlawful possession and use of fireworks.
  • A 13-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on charges of unlawful possession and use of fireworks.
  • A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on charges of fireworks violation and false declaration.
  • A warrant arrest for Division of Youth Services was reported.
  • A subject suspected of manufacturing of a controlled substance was released pending review.
  • Patricia A. Cox, 42, of 1126 N. Spanish St., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.
  • Antione M. Jones, 25, of 612 Boxwood Drive, Apt. 24, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court and a Jefferson City warrant for probation violation.

Summonses

  • Thomas R. Kuehn, 37, of 418 S. Benton St., received a summons for peace disturbance.
  • Levelle D. Simpson, 21, of 910 Ranney Ave., received a summons for fireworks violation.

Thefts

  • Miscellaneous household items were reported stolen from 319 Park Ave.
  • A laptop computer was reported stolen at 1201 Good Hope St.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline theft.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 2806 Independence St.
  • Denny's, 161 West Drive, reported meals and beverages stolen.
  • A burglary was reported at 2830 Independence St.

Assault

  • Domestic assault, child endangerment and felonious restraint were reported.

Miscellaneous

  • Stealing, peace disturbance and trespassing were reported.
  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • Unlawful U-turn, fail to yield to emergency vehicle and careless and imprudent driving were reported.
  • A 46-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • A dog bite was reported.
  • Suspicious death was reported.
  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • Speeding and driving while revoked were reported.
