CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Everett L. Holley Sr., 72, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at his residence in Charleston.

He was born Oct. 26, 1930, at Patton, Mo., son of George and Mildred Meisser Holley. He and Patsy McDaniel were married on Sept. 26, 1948.

Holley was the owner and operator of Holley Electric in Charleston and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Everett Holley Jr., of Sikeston, Mo., and Charles Holley of Charleston; two daughters, Marsha Hart of Charleston and Amy Worley of Olney, Ill.; a sister, Betty DePriest of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Missouri Military Honors Program.
