A new computer and networking firm , I.T. WerX, has opened in the H&H building in downtown Cape Girardeau. Locally owned and operated, I.T. WerX, provides computer and networking services to residential and business customers.

Computer services currently offered by the company include computer repairs with on-site service available, upgrades, computer repair services, sales of complete computer systems and consultations on new technologies.

Network services offered include wired and wireless networking, installation of new networks, expansion of existing networks, server installation, data backup and consultation services.

Also, I.T. WerX has partnered with Digital Skyway to provide high-speed wireless broadband services to the Cape Girardeau area. Plans are currently underway to set up wireless hotspots in several key locations in Cape Girardeau.

I.T. WerX officially opened Aug. 1.
