Mary Unterreiner

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mary D. Unterreiner, 70, of Perryville died Friday, June 29, 2007, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 19, 1936, in Fairfield, Ill., daughter of Emry and Ada Ellen Broeker Borah. She and Howard Shrum were married May 8, 1954. He died Oct. 3, 1969. She and Paul A. Unterreiner were married Nov. 15, 2003.

Unterreiner was a member of Perryville Presbyterian Church and Perry County Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Delbert Shrum of Sedgewickville, Mo., Darrell Shrum of Patton, Mo.; three stepsons, Paul and Gerald Unterreiner of Perryville, Roger Unterreiner of St. Louis; five stepdaughters, Catherine Unterreiner of St. Louis, Joan Behrle and Rose Ochs of Perryville, Jean Unterreiner of Atlanta, Donna Ludwig of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 24 stepgrandchildren; and 10 great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a stepson.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Whitewater Presbyterian Church Cemetery near Sedgewickville, with the Rev. Kirby Grindstaff officiating.
