Last year: Central 43, Sumner 16

Notes: After struggling the past two weeks, Central will look to right its ship against Sumner. The Tigers dropped out of the Class 4 state poll with a loss to rival Jackson. In the rain, Central struggled with snapping problems that resulted in quarterback Mitch Craft rushing for negative yards. Despite throwing for more than 200 yards, Craft was under pressure against Jackson behind a thin line. Central's offensive line troubles will not get any easier without T.J. Bishop and Patrick Slattery, both out with injuries. After rushing for only eight yards against Jackson, the Tigers will look to get their running game turned around against a porous Sumner rush defense. Sumner has allowed a 100-yard rusher in each of its last four games. Robert Golliday is Sumner's top threat on offense. Golliday has a 200-yard rushing game under his belt this season.
