Man found dead after KC standoff identified

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man who was found dead in his home after a standoff with police appears to have committed suicide, police said.

Authorities identified the man as Larry Durham, 26. Police said he appears to have suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

When officers arrived, they heard a gunshot from inside the home. Officers weren't sure if the man had shot himself or if he was shooting at them.

Officers who entered the home about five hours later the man dead.
