Roger Schlitt, 49, of New Haven, Mo., died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at the home of his mother in Greeneville, Tenn.
He was born Feb. 11, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, son of John A. and Betty Schlitt.
Schlitt was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Southeast Missouri State University. He was a self-employed business manager.
Survivors include a daughter, Rajina Schlitt of Sunnyvale, Calif.; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Doyle Dumas of Greeneville; four brothers, Ron Schlitt of St. George Island, Fla., Rick Schlitt of San Antonio, Texas, John Schlitt of Geneva, Ill., R.J. Schlitt of Marietta, Ga.; and a sister, Renda Clark of Bellaire, Texas.
A graveside service was held Tuesday at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery in Greeneville, with Dr. Dan Donaldson and the Rev. Jim Harvey officiating.
Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville was in charge of arrangements.
