Etta Wanda Keesee, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Oct. 5, 1914, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Willis and Mattie Ford Reed. She and Frank Keesee were married Oct. 7, 1933, in Cape Girardeau. He died July 5, 1999.

Keesee was a cook 18 years at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Keesee of Bethalto, Ill., Kenneth Keesee of Dickinson, Texas; four sisters, Emma Brasher and Willene Gee of Jackson, Helen Full of Hartford, Ill., Billie Jenkins of Ferguson, Mo.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Shawn Wasson officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
