Anna Martinez-Loza

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Anna Maria Martinez-Loza, 61, of Advance passed away Monday, July 30, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 4, 1946, in McAllen, Texas, daughter of the late Jesus and Manuela Guajardo Martinez. She and Patricio Loza were married July 22, 1962, in Sterling, Ill.

Anna Maria retired as manager of a hair salon in Aurora, Ill. She attended Christian Life Church in Advance.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Patrick (Tara) Loza Jr., Raymond (Destiny) Loza, Rene Loza, Jose (April) Loza, all of Aurora; two daughters, Maria (Greg) Topps of Aurora, and Olivia (Max) Owen of North Aurora, Ill.

Also four brothers, Jesse Martinez of Mission, Texas, Jose Luis (Judith) Martinez of Azle, Texas, Arturo (Linda) Galvez of Salinas, Calif., Albino (Frances) Garcia of Albuquerque, N.M.; five sisters, Hilda (Lloyd) Brandt of Casa Grande, Ariz., Lettcia (Ramon) Perez of Harvard, Ill., Guadalupe (Jose) Villa of Aurora, Yolanda (Agapito) Romero and Blanca (Jorge) Aviles of Elgin, Ill.; 23 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gavin Page officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
