  • Free Grandparenting Program -- Buckle Me Up!: From 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Generations Family Resource Center. Missouri Law requires all children younger than 8 to ride in an appropriate safety or booster seat unless they are at least 80 pounds or four-foot-nine-inches tall. At this program grandparents will learn about car seat safety and appropriate use from the Safe Kids Cape Girardeau area coordinator.

Thursday

  • Hepatitis support group: From 6 to 7 p.m. at Saint Francis Medical Center. Allows patients and family members to share feelings and concerns with one another in a safe, nonthreatening environment. Group meets the third Wednesday of most months. For more information, call 331-5897.
  • Nutrition Plus Club: At 5:30 p.m. in the Fitness Plus Health and Wellness Conference Room. Monthly meeting led by a registered dietitian offering motivation and real-life insight to help you meet your health and nutrition goals.
