Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Edward L. Allen, 32, of 1212 Good Hope St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Justin L. Hart, 20, of Charleston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Tamika S. Wiseman, 21, of 21 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for fail to appear for a traffic offense.
  • Tony Thompson, 41, of 501 S. Middle St., was arrested on a Massac County, Ill., warrant for aggravated assault conditional release violation.
  • Rasheta S. Gordon, 18, of 212 S. Lorimier St., Apt. 2, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for contempt of court.
  • A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked.
  • Traci L. Ranta, 23, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for disorderly house.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended and tampering with evidence.

Summonses

  • Kelly S. Nigro, 48, of 159 Parkwood Drive, No. 61, was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.
  • Samuel L. McGinty, 23, of 1435 N. Spanish St., was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.

Thefts

  • Subway, 701 Broadway, reported a theft of cash.
  • A tool set was reported stolen at 903 Bellevue St.
  • Hot Spot, 400 Morgan Oak St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A leather pool cue case and two cues were reported stolen at 409 S. Benton St.
  • Copper tubing was reported stolen at 520 Morgan Oak St.
  • Sears Grand, 330 Siemers Drive, reported bags of peat moss stolen.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Bank of Missouri, of 372 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft.
  • A cell phone was reported stolen at 1101 William St.
  • Bank of Missouri, of 1622 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft.
  • A cell phone, gold grill, backpack, money and DVDs were reported stolen at 2857 Themis St.
  • A theft of a stereo was reported in the 1300 block of Themis Street. A window and dashboard cover were reported broken in connection with the incident.
  • A DVD player, cell phone, safe, checks, money and documents were reported stolen at 2839 Whitener St.
  • Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Identity theft was reported.

Property damage

  • A screen and window were reported damaged at 424 S. Pacific St.
  • A window was reported broken at 1021 S. Ellis St.

Miscellaneous

  • Failure to maintain property free of weeds was reported.
