The Cribs -- "Mirror Kissers"

Dead Boys -- "Ain't it Fun"

Angry, snotty, sloppy and senseless. This old tune will make you feel cooler than you actually are. Its also everything rock radio should be today.

The Hiss -- "Clever Kicks"

At high volume this is a wall of noisy bliss. Unusual drum pattern with Southern rock guitar and vocal undertones. This song makes me want to start a bar fight, or at least punch your sister.

Division of Laura Lee -- "Breathe Breathe"

Is this B.R.M.C? Is this The Jesus and Mary Chain? Nope, better in my opinion. Hypnotic and melancholic.

An unusually beautiful melody of great craftsmanship.

For Squirrels -- "The Immortal Dog and Pony Show"

This is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite records. Too bad half the band died before they could promote it. It's important to know, however, that your friends may call you gay or pansy when listening to this Stipe-like track.
