The Central girls volleyball team swept a match with crosstown rival Notre Dame on Tuesday night, winning 25-11, 25-10.

Chelsea Olson led the Indians (13-6-1) to victory at home with 12 assists and 11 digs.

Ashlea Soemo also chipped in six kills, while Kaitlin James added four kills, three assists, five aces, five digs and two blocks.

Leopold 25 25Saxony 10 13

Leopold swept Saxony Lutheran at home to improve to 19-3 on the season.

The Wildcats were led by Maddy Hutchings with six kills, two aces and three blocks.

Casey Bucher added five kills and eight digs, Cassie Seiler had 15 assists and four aces, and Desiree Arnzen chipped in with two aces and eight digs.

Jenny Lathum led the Cubs (23-2-1) with 13 digs.

Rachel Spears had seven kills while Codie Lancaster rcorded 14 assists.

Jessica Abner added six digs and four kills.

Crystal City 25 25St. Vincent 22 20

St. Vincent dropped two close games at home in a Jefferson County Conference match.

Kelsey Cissell had eight kills and 11 assists to pace St. Vincent (23-4-2), while Lacey Siegmund added four kills and 10 assists. Brooke Hayden finished with six kills and Sarah DeWilde had two blocks.

JV -- St. Vincent won 25-16, 19-25, 25-22

Brian Davidson scored the first goal for Jackson, while Matt Mueller scored the second and Andrew Lysell had the third.

Joseph Shultz and Robbie Martin each had one assist.

Justin Darnell recorded the shutout.

Eagle Ridge 9,Rivers Of Life 0

Eagle Ridge Christian improved to 10-1-1 with a home shutout of a St. Louis team in the first round of the SLMCSAA tournament.

Daniel Cohen had five goals and an assist, Josh Wiseman had three goals and an assist, and Stephen Cohen added a goal.

Josh Carbaugh had two assists, while Sam Davis, Ben Douglass and Mary-Kate Galemmo also added assists.

Ethan Grant and Daniel Cohen shared the shutout in goal.
