CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Delta and Charleston's girls basketball teams will meet in the finals of the Scott-Mississippi Conference tournament on Saturday after picking up semifinal wins Thursday night.

Top-seeded Delta (10-1) pulled away from Scott County Central in the fourth quarter to win 52-44. Delta went on a 17-9 run in the final quarter.

Shea Smith led the Bobcats with 16 points and Ashley Elliot added 12.

Jennifer Hoot led the Bravettes with 17 points.

Charleston edged Kelly 57-52 with a run in the fourth quarter. The Blue Jays outscored Kelly 23-12 in the fourth. Shytoria Davis led Charleston with 17 points, Missy Whitney had 15 and Fleater Quinn had 14.

In the semifinals of the JV tournament Oran defeated Kelly 37-35 and Chaffee edged Delta 33-30.
