BERTRAND, Mo. -- Stacey Marie Bowers, 34, of Bertrand died Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo., from injuries received in an automobile accident near Bertrand.

She was born Nov. 30, 1969, in Sikeston, daughter of Brad and Joan Marie Groves Bowers.

Bowers was payroll clerk at Kontek Industries in New Madrid, Mo.

Survivors include her father of St. Louis; two brothers, Cory and Travis Bowers of St. Louis; a sister, Darice Sawyer of Sikeston; and maternal grandfather, W.C. "Dub" Groves of Bertrand.

She was preceded in death by her mother and maternal grandmother.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
