DWI; Summons

The Cape Girardeau Police Department reported the following incidents. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • A suspect is in custody pending charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked, no proof of insurance, stop sign violation and resisting arrest.

Arrests

  • A juvenile was taken into custody at South Spanish and Good Hope streets.
  • Patricia D. Cody, 18, 2837 Themis St., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for promoting child pornography and a Sikeston DPS for contempt of court.
  • A juvenile was taken into custody on suspicion of theft under $500 at Sears.
  • A suspect was taken into custody pending charges on suspicion of second-degree assault and trespassing at 38 North Henderson Ave.
  • Cedric J. Lucious, 18, 1012 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and driving without a valid license.
  • Jarrett W. Stroder, 22, 350 Mindy Lane, Oak Ridge, was arrested on suspicion of a peace disturbance at 2 North Main St.

Summons

  • Sirena R. Irving, 19, 422 Bellevue St., received a summons for maintaining a disorderly house.

Assaults

  • An assault was reported at 3439 William St.
  • An assault was reported at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.
  • An assault was reported at 2 N. Main St.
  • A domestic assault was reported. A suspect is in custody pending charges.
  • Two second degree domestic assaults, first-degree burglary and endangering the welfare of a child were reported.
  • An assault was reported at 433 N. Henderson Ave.

Theft

  • A purse was reported stolen at 3439 William St.

Property damage

  • Two vehicles were reported damaged in the 100 block of Broadway.

Miscellaneous

  • Phone harassment was reported.
  • A missing person was reported and later found.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at 1038 Frederick St.
  • An 18-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

The Jackson Police Department reported the following incidents. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

  • A 16-year-old boy received a summons for failure to stop for steady red light.

Assault

  • An assault was reported in the 400 block of Howard Street.

Theft

  • Theft was reported in the area of West Jackson Boulevard
  • Theft was reported in the area of the city park.

Miscellaneous

  • A traffic hazard was reported in the 1500 block of West Independence Street.
  • Report of a traffic hazard in the 400 block of Green Meadows Drive.
  • Report of a traffic hazard in the area of Morton and Donald streets.
  • A check the welfare in the 2400 block of Litz Boulevard.
  • A check the welfare in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
  • Report of careless and imprudent driving in the 2700 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Report of a fight in progress disturbance in the 600 block of West Jefferson Street.
  • Report of a peace disturbance in the 200 block of Hidden Meadows Drive.
