The Cape Girardeau Police Department reported the following incidents. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A juvenile was cited into juvenile court.
  • Patricia D. Cody, 19, 2837 Themis St., Apt. 4, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for promoting child pornography and on a Sikeston, Mo., police department warrant for contempt of court.
  • A juvenile was arrested for suspicion of stealing socks from Sears Grand.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of second-degree assault and first-degree trespassing.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked, no proof of insurance, stop sign violation and resisting arrest.
  • Cedric J. Lucious, 18, 1012 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and driving without a valid license.
  • Jarrett W. Stroder, 22, 350 Mindy Lane, Oak Ridge, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace.
  • A suspect was arrested pending formal charges for second-degree domestic assault.
  • Alexis A. Wicks, 18, 121 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for improper registration, driving while suspended and probation violation.
  • Cynthia J. Rulo, 19, 605 Boxwood Drive, Apt. 4, was arrested on suspicion of damaging property.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at Mount Auburn Road and Route K.

Summons

  • A summons was issued to Sirena R. Irving, 19, 422 Bellevue St., Apt. E, for maintaining a disorderly house.

Assaults

  • An assault was reported in the 1000 block of South Silver Springs Road.
  • An assault was reported in the unit block of North Main Street.
  • An incident involving domestic assault, assault, burglary and endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
  • An assault was reported in the 400 block of South Sprigg Street.

Thefts

  • Sears Grand, 330 Siemers Drive, reported the theft of socks.
  • A purse was reported taken from 3439 William St.
  • Jewelry was reported stolen from 421 E. Cape Rock Drive.

Property damage

  • Side mirrors on two vehicles were damaged in the 100 block of Broadway.
  • Damage to a catalytic converter on a car parked at 1625 N. Kingshighway was reported.
  • A sign and building were reported damaged at 400 Broadway.

  • A phone harassment incident was reported in the 800 block of College Street.
  • The unlawful use of a weapon was reported in the 1000 block of North Frederick Street.
  • An 18-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the unit block of North Main Street.
  • A custom brown Chevy was found abandoned in the 100 block of South Park Street.
  • A 1993 green Mazda 626 was found abandoned at Linden and Sprigg streets.
