Central enjoyed a successful start to its girls swimming season, defeating St. Vincent 108-69 on Wednesday.

Central's Mary-Catherine Ford snagged two first-place finishes, winning the 50-meter freestyle (31.16 seconds) and 100 butterfly (1:25.28). Jesse Baker also earned two first-place finishes -- the 200 individual medley (2:54.50) and the 100 breaststroke (1:33.18).

The Tigers will be back in action Friday and Saturday at the Marquette relays.
