SIKESTON, Mo. -- Children and adults will take part in living Christmas scenes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the First United Methodist Church parking lot at 1307 N. Main St. in Sikeston. The free drive-through experience is in its 16th year.

Over a three-day event, costumed actors and actresses will depict scenes of 10 events in the life of Christ. Scenes, enhanced by Christmas music, begin with the trip to Bethlehem by Mary and Joseph, continuing through Jesus' death and resurrection.

About 100 people are involved in each of the productions.
